Currently, we are seeking a
Software Engineer Intern
to become a part of the HIROTEC Team. We are looking for a Full-Time employee.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer Intern will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between users and technical teams, leveraging their understanding of system functionality and user needs to recommend software enhancements and translate user requirements into actionable plans. By collaborating closely with users, attending design committee meetings, and supporting proactive management efforts, they will contribute to the optimization of software systems and the enhancement of user experiences, enabling a more strategic and proactive approach to user support within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will be expected to:
Assist with user support by investigating and troubleshooting software-related issues reported by users, providing solutions or escalating as needed. Participate in user story development by gathering requirements from users and helping translate those into actionable tasks for the development team. Support bug investigation and resolution, identifying issues in the code and working with senior developers to fix them. Collaborate with the development team to ensure that software development tasks are aligned with user needs and expectations. Develop and maintain basic software features under the guidance of senior developers, contributing to the overall software development lifecycle. Assist in testing activities, ensuring that features are thoroughly tested and meet functional requirements. Document work processes and provide clear updates on the status of tasks assigned. Skills and Qualifications :
Basic knowledge of Full Stack Development, with experience or coursework in: C# or .NET development (basic understanding) SQL and database management Web development frameworks (MVC, React, jQuery, etc.) Familiarity with Agile development practices (preferred but not required) Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Ability to collaborate effectively with a development team Good communication skills and the ability to ask questions, take feedback, and learn from more senior developers Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus Interest in learning and gaining hands-on experience in full-stack development Enthusiasm for software development and working on real-world projects Additional Information :

based in Auburn Hills, Michigan. This internship is designed for someone looking to grow their technical skills, with mentorship and support provided by experienced team members.
