A prestigious Am Law and Chambers-ranked firm is seeking International Trade associates to join its International Trade Group in the Washington, D.C. office. Ideal candidates will be law school graduates from the class years 2019 to 2023, currently in good standing at an Am Law-ranked firm, and admitted to practice in D.C.
The role requires experience with U.S. export controls and national security-related trade regulations. A background in sanctions, trade remedies, trade policy, or customs is a strong plus. Candidates should have a solid understanding of customs regulations, including tariff classification, valuation, transfer pricing, and compliance with forced labor laws. Experience with audits, AD/CVD matters, FTAs, customs litigation, and investigations by relevant agencies is also highly preferred.
