Insight Investment is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join the Business Change team in Boston. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with business units to gain in-depth understanding of business strategy, processes, services, roadmap, and the context in which the business operates. This role will be key to understanding and managing the capabilities needed to address business/regulatory deliverables. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) that span across one or more business units. Manage resources, schedules, financials and adhere to stage gate quality and SDLC control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery. Role Responsibilities Project planning and monitoring Management of project risks and dependencies Assisting business Operational workstream leaders to construct and monitor plans Own and manage project budgets Construct presentations and status reports Present solutions to external parties General support to the project team Manage external partners and suppliers Construct full businesses cases Define project scopes and deliverables Design and construct business operating models Explore market infrastructures Experience Required Knowledge Proven track record as a lead Project Manager role within financial services, with asset management preferred Proven track record working as a lead Project Manager on wide variety of strategic and tactical initiatives Experience with leading the implementation of strategic change and major transformation initiatives Ability to create and define operating models Experience of working on system and operational migration initiatives Exposure to a wide spectrum of financial instruments including Fixed Income and municipal bonds preferred Product knowledge including retail SMAs, 40 acts’ and ETFs preferred Trade-lifecycle expertise a plus Skills Strong planning, co-ordination and organising skills Change management skills Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation Excellent at building and maintaining relationships Stakeholder management skills Cost control skills and commercial acumen Team player Independent of thought – able to work independently yet judge when to consult Construct business operating models Critical analysis of external vendors and suppliers Ability to review and interpret legislation and effectively communicate how it will impact teams within the organisation Experience Demonstrate delivery of successful strategic change and business transformation Asset management / investment management background preferred Presenting to senior management and external clients & suppliers Management of external suppliers Insight is committed to being an inclusive employer and encourages applications from all suitably qualified applicants irrespective of background, circumstances, age, disability, gender identity, ethnicity, religion or belief and sexual orientation.
