Position Summary, Job Requirements & Responsibilities
What We’re Looking For:
If you have extensive experience leading government proposals, you will be excited about the Associate Proposal Director opening. You will lead proposal efforts, ensure compliance, and drive improvements across stakeholders. Strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft tools, and project management experience are essential.
What You’ll Do:
Manage proposal writing and submission processes for the Government team
Verify proposal compliance and facilitate reviews
Identify process gaps and implement improvements
Coordinate efforts across departments like finance, contracts, technical, and business development
Manage proposals using Microsoft Office tools
Ensure high-quality, timely proposal submissions
Experience & Education Requirements / EEO
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field
12+ years of relevant experience in defense or satellite industry
Proficiency in SharePoint, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills
Ability to analyze situations and develop solutions
Strong relationship-building skills with leadership
Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks under deadlines
Proactive approach to process improvement
Preferred Qualifications:
Active/current Secret Security Clearance
Additional requirements include ability to travel up to 20%, U.S. citizenship, and work primarily in an office setting.
