Alutiiq Logistics & Maintenance Services, LLC (ALMS) is looking for Part Time Janitors in support of a Custodial Support Services Contract with our Defense Intelligence Agency customer. The Custodian performs custodial services to ensure that buildings and facilities are maintained in a safe and sanitary manner. Custodians perform a full range of custodial duties related to the care, maintenance and cleaning of all assigned buildings and facilities within the government contract to include both routine maintenance as well as non-routine assignments. Performs standard custodial tasks in compliance with safety standards.

Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

• Under supervision, perform cleaning and custodial duties in the maintenance of the interior of facilities and buildings.
• Cleans walls, inside of windows and other glass surfaces, partitions and doors in facilities using various cleaning solutions, wash towels, sponges, and other cleaning products.
• Operates vacuum cleaners and shampoo equipment and solvents to vacuum and chemically clean carpeted areas in office areas of facilities.
• Removes litter, debris and fluids from building floors and vestibules in response to requests for clean ups during the day.
• Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs, and officer furniture.
• Cleans and disinfects handrails.
• Vacuum and spot clean carpet.
• Dispose of trash and clean trash containers
• Perform periodical services such as stripping and waxing tile, deep cleaning carpets and cleaning windows.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning materials, tools, equipment, and restroom supplies in supply closets throughout the facility. Clean, organize and maintain storage areas. Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
• Notify supervisor of low inventory items in a timely manner
• Correct and/or report any deficiencies regarding maintenance of equipment or deficiently cleaned areas.
• Possess an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
• High School Diploma
• Ability to sit, walk and stand while working, and to use arms and hands to lift and carry up to thirty-five pounds and custodial equipment.
• Ability to see, hear, smell, and maintain a fundamental understanding of custodial equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions and safety procedures for cleaning all rooms and common areas.
• Active Clearance required
• Pursuant to government contract, U.S. Citizenship required.
