About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to join a startup at the ground floor and play a pivotal role in its growth and success. As a Co-founder (Business Development), you won't just be joining a company; you'll be building it. You'll be a core member of the founding team, working directly with other founders to define our strategy, build our client base, and establish K9Devs.com as a leader in the software development space. This is a hands-on, high-impact role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research & Strategy:
   Conduct market research to identify target audiences, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
   Collaborate with the founding team to define and refine K9Devs.com's overall business strategy and go-to-market plan.
   Help develop a compelling value proposition and messaging for potential clients.
2. Lead Generation & Sales:
   Identify and pursue potential clients through various channels (networking, online platforms, cold outreach, events, etc.).
   Develop and implement lead generation strategies.
   Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients.
   Present K9Devs.com's services and capabilities to potential clients.
   Contribute to the development of proposals and contracts.
3. Partnerships & Networking:
   Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with other businesses, organizations, and individuals in the DMV area and beyond.
   Represent K9Devs.com at industry events and networking opportunities.
4. Brand Building:
   Contribute to the development of K9Devs.com's brand identity and marketing materials.
   Help build K9Devs.com's online presence (website, social media, etc.).
5. Operational Support:
   Assist with various operational tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success of the startup.
   Provide input on product development and service offerings based on market feedback.

Qualifications:

1. Must be a current final-year college student (or very recent graduate) in the DMV area.
2. Strong passion for entrepreneurship and building a company from the ground up.
3. Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
4. Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
5. Strong organizational and time management skills.
6. A proactive, "can-do" attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
7. A genuine interest in the software development industry.
8. Prior experience in business development, sales, marketing, or related fields is a significant plus, but not strictly required. We are primarily looking for a dependable, energetic, and passionate individual.
9. Dependability is crucial. We need someone who is reliable and committed to contributing consistently.
