As a Forklift Operator, your responsibilities include managing warehouse operations, receiving shipments, and preparing materials for shipping. This role involves physical work, classified as heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload freight onto/from containers and trailers.
• Verify inbound deliveries against manifests for accuracy.
• Use RF scanners to pick and pack customer orders, ensuring accuracy.
• Select and construct appropriate packaging for safe transport.
• Use RF scanners, computers, and scales to process shipments.
• Perform safety inspections and monitor equipment.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Perform stock counts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to read work orders and follow verbal instructions.
• Proficiency in English.

Preferred

• Warehouse operations experience.
• Experience and/or certification in powered material handling equipment (e.g., forklift).
