Job Title: Maintenance Manager – Kensington Mine Location: Kensington Mine, 45 miles north of Juneau, Alaska

Position Summary The Maintenance Manager oversees all maintenance activities at the Kensington Mine, leading a team to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations, with a focus on strategic planning and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead by example to exemplify Coeur Mining’s core value of Protect.
Enforce safety policies and foster an accident-free environment.
Manage all maintenance functions, including mobile equipment, mill, and infrastructure.
Implement maintenance improvement initiatives.
Develop and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Supervise and develop maintenance staff.
Manage budgets and expenditures.
Coordinate with operations, engineering, and procurement.
Oversee inventory management.
Drive continuous improvement using data and metrics.
Lead root cause analyses and failure investigations.
Coordinate contractor and vendor services.
Support capital project planning and execution.
Promote safety, accountability, and teamwork.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or related experience.
Minimum 10 years maintenance experience, with 5 years in management.
Knowledge of underground mining equipment and asset management.
Proficiency with CMMS and ERP software (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a remote, camp environment.
Familiarity with servant leadership and Microsoft Office.
Preference for Alaskan residents.
Preferred Qualifications
Lean or Six Sigma certification, RCM familiarity.
Knowledge of MSHA regulations and underground mining practices.
Engineering degree preferred.
Work Environment
Residential position with 4 days on-site, 3 days off schedule.
Remote location accessible by company transportation.
Camp accommodations provided.
Regular inspections and varied weather conditions.
Additional travel as needed.
