$130,000 – $135,000 annually Reports to:
HR Manager Openings:
1 position We’re hiring a Benefits Manager to join our team in Carlsbad. This is a full-time, on-site role reporting directly to the HR Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in benefits administration, compliance, and vendor management, and will play a key role in supporting our employees and enhancing our overall benefits strategy. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage employee benefits programs including: Health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability Retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and leave policies Lead the annual open enrollment process and employee communications Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, etc.) Evaluate and compare current benefits offerings and recommend improvements or cost-saving strategies Manage relationships with benefits vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators Provide guidance and support to employees regarding benefits-related questions and issues Collaborate with payroll, finance, and legal teams to ensure accurate and timely benefits administration Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for audits and internal use Requirements: 5+ years of experience as a Benefits Manager or Supervisor Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Strong understanding of benefits administration, vendor management, and regulatory compliance Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (ADP, Workday, UKG, etc.) Excellent communication, analytical, project management, and organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or similar certification is a plus If you're looking for a role where you can make a real impact and help shape a positive employee experience, we’d love to hear from you.
