Overview: This position is for our Med/Surg and Tele units - all shifts are available! Bonus Options: up to $10,000 (paid out over 2 years every 90 days) Employment Type: Full Time/Part Time Shifts Available: Days or Nights Location: Providence Medical Center - Kansas City, KS A Med-Surg Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a medical-surgical unit plays a multifunctional role, focusing on providing basic nursing care to patients with various medical conditions and those recovering from surgery. On a regular basis, they monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform wound care. LPNs collaborate with registered nurses and doctors, reporting any changes in patients' conditions. They assist with daily living activities, educate patients and families on post-discharge care, and ensure proper documentation in medical records. Their work is essential for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of patient care in this dynamic unit. Qualifications: Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have: 1. Current and valid state license. 2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current. 3.
