You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and sterilization of all surgical procedures as our primary scrub tech. Part Time DEPARTMENT:
Operating Room (OR) SCHEDULE:
M-F Days, with on-call responsibilities which may include evenings, overnights, weekends/holidays. (Note: Orientation is full time even if pursuing a part time position) RESPONSIBILITIES: CME maintenance - must maintain at least 15 hours of Continuing Medical Education (CME) per year Supply check & sterilization - ensure all supplies, instrumentation, and equipment are available and sterilized for surgical procedures Orientation - assist in guiding medical/nursing students and technicians to the unit Draping & maintenance - assist with draping procedures and maintains overall sterility in the operation room Unit development - help identify goals and objectives of the unit EDUCATION: Graduated from an accredited program with a Surgical Technology major AND holds and maintains Certified Surgical Technologist certification from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) within 12 months of graduation. PAY RANGE:
$25.00 - $29.00 CITY:
Rochester, NY 14626 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
