We are looking for a Program & Events Manager to join our team who will be based in our Stamford, CT office. You will organize virtual, in-person, and hybrid events, including internal programs, conferences, fundraisers, and off-site team travel. You will work closely with a collaborative and dynamic team, in a growth-oriented, fast-paced environment. You should have excellent project management skills and be able to consistently deliver an exceptional work product that reflects the mission of Point72 and the philanthropic vision of the founders. What You’ll Do Plan and execute Foundation and Community events in various formats Organize employee engagement activities Manage event planning, timelines, and deliverables Develop and oversee budgets Source venues, negotiate contracts Handle event logistics including registration, transportation, accommodations, A/V, and speaker arrangements Maintain detailed event records and post-event evaluations Collaborate across organizations and with colleagues Manage engagement data and support reporting Advise team members on event management Improve processes and automate tasks Travel locally and domestically for event management What’s Required Bachelor’s degree 4+ years of event management experience Strong project planning and innovative thinking skills Experience with Salesforce and Asana preferred Graphic design skills and event material preparation a plus Customer-focused, approachable, adaptable to stakeholder needs Excellent communication skills Highly organized with attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Knowledge of venues and suppliers, especially in the NYC area High ethical standards We Take Care Of Our People Health care benefits Parental and family leave policies Volunteer opportunities Support for affinity groups Wellness programs Tuition assistance 401(k) with employer match About Point72 Point72, led by Steven A.
