Role Description
Product Knowledge and Recommendations
- Prepare and implement a cross-training plan with each staff member on products and services
- Conduct one-on-one sessions weekly with branches to assess what each person should work on to enhance selling skills and increase referrals
- Work with staff on making recommendations for customers by using open-ended questions
New Customer Generation
- Set up new appointments from internal and promotion referrals
- Conduct joint sales calls with branch staff and commercial bankers to generate new business
- Open, cross sell, maintain existing accounts and products to new and existing customers; monitor broker sales for team daily
- Take a proactive sales approach by making outbound phone calls with an emphasis on setting appointments for financial reviews
- Conduct outside sales calls on local businesses to increase market share
Osaic Institutions Responsibilities
- Provide necessary information so all team members have adequate skills and product knowledge to generate referrals
- Identify client needs and present the solutions suitable to their risk tolerance and goals.
- Provide outstanding service that achieves high customer satisfaction and builds strong, long-term customer relationships
- Assist with all Osaic Institutionsaudits as required
- Review and monitor referrals in CRM (Insight-Contact Management)
- Reach assigned annual revenue goal by suggesting products that are in the best interest of the client
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or an equivalent, banking and sales experience preferred
- Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Series 7 and Series 63 Licenses are required
- Series 65 License preferred
- 5+ years relevant experience in financial services
- Advanced knowledge of banking customer service principles and processes
- Strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication and listening skills
- Relevant experience developing and achieving goals
- Strong computer and banking software experience
- Proven ability to stay current with and comply with industry regulations
- Experience analyzing current market conditions to determine future business opportunities and projections
