Work Schedule:
Rotating daylight and evening shifts between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m.
NO major holidays or overnight shifts required!
Rotating Saturdays (12 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) and Sundays (10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.).
Locations:
Children's North (Wexford), Children's South (Bridgeville), Children's East (Monroeville), Children's West (Moon), Children's Express Care Cranberry (UPMC Lemieux Center), and Children's West Mifflin.
The Radiology (Diagnostic, X-Ray) Techs will have a "home" location based on their address, and will travel to select additional local sites up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities:
Properly identifies all patients by using two patient identifiers.
Reviews patient history, assesses physician orders, and documents patient history in electronic record, as required.
Administers PO/enteral and rectal contrast per physician orders.
Ensure exams are coded, tracked, networked, and charged correctly.
Performs diagnostic radiography and other procedures utilizing established protocols/procedures.
Utilizes complex imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, and documentation of image data.
Interacts with patients and co-workers with care, dignity, and respect.
Demonstrates the ability to communicate instructions to patients in a clear and concise manner and explain procedures to help allay the patient's fears and solicit their cooperation.
Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT-approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date.
Technologists hired before graduation will have indirect supervision by an ARRT Certified Diagnostic Technologist until the degree is verified.
Candidates with an active ARRT Certificate and 1 year of experience preferred.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
ARRT Certificate or registry eligible.
Must obtain ARRT Certificate within 6 months of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required within 30 days of hire.
Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewals
