Panda Restaurant Group is seeking driven individuals to join our Leadership Rotational Program. As an Rotational Leadership Trainee (Operations) program associate, you will receive dynamic training and hands-on experience in restaurant operation and leadership. Through this program, you’ll gain in-depth knowledge of store management, operational excellence, and building strong, collaborative relationships . Embark on an immersive 18- to 26-week rotational journey with Panda, where you’ll gain invaluable experience across our diverse dining concepts. From the elegance of Panda Inn fine dining to the fast-casual excellence of Panda Express, our Gourmet Chinese food concept, and the refined sophistication of Yakiya, our upscale Japanese dining experience, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in dynamic environments. Join us and shape your future with Panda as we work together to fulfill our mission: “Deliver exceptional Asian dining experiences by building an organization where people are inspired to better their lives .” Responsibilitie s: • Rotate through different restaurant concepts (e.g., fine dining, fast casual, specialized cuisine) to gain a well-rounded perspecti ve.• Support store operations during the shift, ensuring food is prepared with passion, service is provided with heart, and the ambiance is maintained with pri de.• Engage in hands-on training alongside restaurant leaders and team members to gain a deeper understanding of day-to-day operatio ns.• Understand the roles and responsibilities of various restaurant concep ts.• Demonstrate your expertise and leadership abilities by providing insightful recommendations to drive continuous improveme nt.• Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper food safety and sanitation practices are follow ed.• Complete the assigned modules throughout the training proce ss.• Apply learnings from each concept to build a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s operations and goa ls.• Perform additional tasks as needed to support the restaurant operations te am. Desired skills & experie nce:• High school diploma requ fied• Currently pursuing a bachelor's, preferably in hospitality, business administration, or a related field; Seniors/graduates prefe rred• Must be available to work 30-40 hours a week• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal sk ills• Proven leadership abilities with a talent for motivating and managing teams in a fast-paced set ting• Proactive, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a collaborative and dynamic team environm ent.• Flexible availability, including a willingness ability to work weekends and holid ays. Pay Range: $26.50 - $29.50 / Hour** + potential bonus* ** Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience. Note that this position requires commuting to/rotation between multiple work locations during the course of the Leadership Rotational P rogram. ADA St atement:While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam table and food vapors. Workspace is restricted and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knife and other kitchen equipment and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult sit uations.
