Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Cloud Infrastructure Engineer position! This is a 6+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Wilmington, DE or Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You'll Be Doing: Work closely with Technology management, senior Engineers, and support teams to design, develop, and implement technical solutions that meet organizational needs. Conduct infrastructure review, implementation, design, and create support and architectural documentation, standards, policies, analysis, and testing. Independently interact with business partners of varying associate and management levels to elicit business requirements. Coordinate vendor interactions and manage vendor resources as needed. Mentor and coach less experienced engineers, technicians, and integrators. Review documentation, proposals, and changes proposed by less experienced staff. Continuously expand knowledge of Financial Services trends, practices, and technologies. Follow and promote industry best practices, standards, and procedures. Maintain strong knowledge of Bank applications, systems, development environments, vendor technologies, and services. Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls. Maintain internal control standards and address internal and external audit points and regulator-raised issues. What You'll Need to Have:
Ability to work a 3-day/week hybrid schedule in Wilmington, DE or Buffalo, NY. Combined minimum of 6 years of higher education and/or work experience in systems design, management, and/or architecture. Experience with the following: Azure Cloud, Terraform, Scripting Ansible, Windows OS, Linux OS, Python GitLab, CI/CD pipelines Ability to translate complex business and functional requirements into structured high-quality implementations. Understanding of server/client and virtual technologies and their interactions. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred.
Pay Range:
$62-$77/hr +
