An International Specialist Boutique is expanding its team from the Snr Analyst to Snr Associate level in New York. This team provides Industry coverage advisory acting as a comprehensive one stop shop.

This firm is noted for the extensive expertise and network of its senior advisors throughout the industry and has been closing a high level of deals annually despite recent volatile market conditions. It has also been well awarded for its Innovation within the North American Power industry

Job role:

• Supporting the senior advisors for the origination and execution of deals across the team’s product areas

• Execution of live deals through financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence in support

• Managing and mentoring the junior pool of Analysts in the team

• Acting as a relevant point of contact for relevant internal and external parties

• Drafting materials for marketing (Investment Memorandums, Rating Presentations and Pitch Books)

Requirements:

• At least 2+ years of relevant work experience from an Investment Bank

• Bachelor’s degree, and/or an MBA from a top ranked institution preferably in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration or an equivalent area

• Experience in financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence for relevant projects

• Exposure to relevant sectors (Energy, Power, Infrastructure and Renewables) is a bonus

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a wider team

• Competency across Microsoft Office suite is needed
