Interventional Cardiology Locums - Louisiana, No Weekend Call
This hospital-based interventional cardiology assignment is located in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Highlights No required weekend call - weekdays only Streamlined credentialing in 45 days Travel, lodging, and rental car covered IMLC-eligible physicians encouraged to apply Practice Setting Inpatient-only - no clinic responsibilities STEMI coverage, rounding, consults, and procedures Backed by a dedicated NP and two other MDs onsite General cardiology managed separately by their own team Schedule Monday-Friday, 7a-5p 1-2 weeks/month - choose the dates Optional weekend call if preferred Cases and Procedures Full-scope interventional (no structural required) STEMI, emergencies, inpatient rounding, consults STEMI cases average 2 per day (some days none) Requirements Board-certified in Interventional Cardiology ACLS and DEA required Louisiana license or active IMLC LOQ At least 2 years of recent experience Travel Accommodations Travel, lodging, and rental car provided Let me know if you'd like the available weeks or want help confirming a block.
