Job Description
Loureiro Contractors, Inc. is searching for a knowledgeable and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Connecticut. This individual will work on diverse projects within design/build, general contracting, and construction management.
Our goal is to employ the right candidate who will work with experienced professionals, receiving formal training and mentoring to grow professionally and explore opportunities with Loureiro.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with a solid work ethic
- Experience in environmental, vertical, or civil construction industries
- Ability to operate dozers, graders, and excavators (e.g., backhoe, track hoe, articulated dump truck, water truck, compactors, skid-steer)
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Must pass a background check, physical, and drug test
- 40-hour Hazwoper training
- Ability to comply with safety policies, report accidents, incidents, and near misses
- Wear PPE at all times on the job site
