This position is full time, full benefit eligible, located in Lowndes County, GA. Travel will be required throughout our 10 county district.

Job Responsibilities
Under general supervision, provides assistance to public health nurses and county programs. Assigned to specific clinical duties within the scope of an LPN practice in public health. **MUST BE BILINGUAL IN SPANISH
Other duties includes:
Assists clinician with LARC procedures. Collects, maintains and supplies instruments when needed. Sterilizes instruments using an autoclave. Obtains required laboratory tests and notifies clinician of abnormal results. Provides nursing assistance during a public health emergency and participates in emergency preparedness training, drills and exercises as directed. Assists with Autoclave maintenance for all 10 counties. *Reliable Transportation* Must be able to travel to all 12 sites within the district. Minimum Qualifications
Vocational/Technical degree in licensed practical nursing from an accredited college AND current Georgia license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse AND CPR certification AND completion of all necessary orientation and training for Public Health LPN. No experience required.
