J ob Description: We are seeking a Vice President of Product Marketing to lead a global product marketing function that connects DTN’s powerful capabilities—AI, data, vertical-specific platforms—to the mission-critical needs of our customers. This role is central to defining how we go to market across industries, how we shape and communicate our value proposition, and how we enable our field teams to win. You will lead and grow a team of product marketers, serve as a close collaborator to the CMO and cross-functional leadership teams, and play a critical role in bringing DTN’s vision and product value to life across our core industries. You’ll thrive in this role if you are a builder, storyteller, strategist, and experienced operator—ready to help DTN define the next chapter of industry transformation. Key Responsibilities Strategic & Team Leadership Define and drive DTN’s product marketing strategy in close partnership with Product, Sales, CS and Marketing leadership. Build and lead a high-performing, global product marketing team. Lead team execution across vertical and platform go-to-market efforts in agriculture, energy, and weather intelligence. Narrative, Positioning & Solution Messaging Lead the product marketing strategy and execution to bring our narrative around DTN’s Operational Decisioning Platform and AI capabilities to market. Develop tailored messaging frameworks for buyer personas and industry segments, tying complex data and AI functionality to clear customer value. Shape DTN’s external presence in collaboration with the demand gen, brand, and communications teams. GTM Strategy & Product Launch Own go-to-market readiness and execution for all major launches, feature rollouts, and roadmap initiatives across all sectors. Build and guide a cross-functional product launch process that delivers impact across awareness, pipeline, and customer adoption. Collaborate with Product, Sales, Finance, and Revenue Operations on monetization strategies that balance scalability and customer value. Drive industry marketing strategy to contextualize DTN’s solutions within the business needs, challenges, and language of each target sector. Continuously gather and synthesize market, customer, and competitor data to inform positioning, roadmap, and GTM motion. Lead analyst relations with our Product Management team. Enablement & Sales Support Partner with Sales, Customer Success and Enablement to deliver world-class tools, assets, and training for our platforms and products. Ensure Sales and Customer Success are equipped to sell value, differentiate DTN, and address vertical-specific challenges. Background and Skill set: 15+ years of B2B SaaS/software product marketing experience 10 years of leadership experience managing product marketers in complex, enterprise organizations selling platform solutions across multiple personas and verticals. Proven success aligning with Sales, Product, and the C-suite to drive commercial outcomes to high-value, enterprise customers with longer sales cycles. Domain expertise in energy, agriculture, weather, risk intelligence, or industrial sectors is valued, but not a prerequisite. Exceptional storytelling, positioning, and segmentation skills, with a track record of transforming complex technologies into compelling value narratives. Experience guiding GTM strategy, solution marketing, and competitive programs. Familiarity with AI/ML-powered platforms and operational intelligence tools is a strong advantage. Adept at thriving in high-change environments with matrixed teams and global operations.
