RIVA Solutions, Inc. Job Location/Place of Employment Address : Rockville, Maryland 20852 Job Duties/Description : RIVA Solutions, Inc. (“RIVA”) is a rapidly growing provider of Information Technology and Program Support Services to the United States Federal Government. RIVA seeks a Mainframe Developer. This position is responsible for providing business and operations support to RIVA’s government customers with respect to mainframe systems. Analyzes and corrects system issues by developing, testing, and implementing programming solutions using technologies such as COBOL, CICS, JCL, Oracle, SAS, and UNIX. Analyzes operational tickets, determines impact on other systems or functions, and develops appropriate software solutions or processes. Develops and executes accurate and concise unit and integration test scripts. Debugs application code. Provides solution cost estimates and develops deliverables deadlines. Employee will work on-site at the Department of Health and Human Services in Rockville, Maryland; employee may also periodically work remotely from residence in the metropolitan Washington, D.C. region, as directed to RIVA by its customer. Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. Seven (7) years' experience in an occupation providing technical experience for mainframe development, operations, and/or maintenance, ie. Developer, Software Engineer, Lead Technician, Programmer, Analyst, Consultant, or a related field. Seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience working in the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, business analysis, configuration management, and quality control. Seven (7) years' experience using COBOL, CICS and JCL. Must be able to obtain NACI (Public Trust) security clearance. Work location could vary but will still be located within the Washington‐Arlington‐Alexandria, DC‐VA‐MD‐WV Metropolitan Statistical Area. Compensation:
Up to $148,000/year; standard benefits to include medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, STD/LTD, life/AD&D insurance, EAP, PTO, 11 paid holidays, 401(k); optional benefits to include FSA (medical, dependent care, commuter), supplemental life/AD&D insurance, critical illness insurance, accident insurance, pet insurance, hospital indemnity.
