What are we looking for in a
Network Services Manager?
We are looking for a strategic and technically skilled Network Services Manager who can lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level IT infrastructure. This individual must demonstrate deep expertise in managing physical and virtual server environments, complex networking systems, and modern cloud-based tools like Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities to supervise and mentor technical staff, guide project execution, and drive operational excellence. They should be experienced in developing documentation, ensuring compliance with IT policies, and collaborating across departments to align technology with organizational goals.
A successful candidate will also possess a proactive approach to troubleshooting, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery planning. We value someone who can manage budgets, support strategic initiatives, and continuously evaluate systems for improvement and resilience.
Network Services Manager duties may include: Designing, implementing, and managing
enterprise-level servers (both physical and virtual), network switching and routing, remote access systems, and data center infrastructure. Monitoring
the health, performance, and resources of data center systems, networks, and applications to ensure optimal operation and availability. Maintaining complex Microsoft Windows Server environments , including Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, SQL, RDS, DNS, DHCP andIIS. Developing and maintaining M365 environment and tools , including Azure Active Directory, InTune, Exchange, and Entra. Developing technical and operational documentation , including policies and procedures for network infrastructure, disaster recovery, ITSM and security. Providing supervision and leadership
to technical staff, including performance evaluations, coaching, and development planning. Participating in hiring, training, and onboarding
of new IT staff in collaboration with Human Resources. Ensuring compliance
with program plans, safety standards, and quality service delivery requirements. Assisting with budgeting and resource planning
for the IT team. Collaborating across multiple departments
to support IT needs and strategic initiatives. Troubleshooting and resolving network issues , including diagnosing hardware and software failures and implementing appropriate fixes. Researching and implementing security protocols and tools to safeguard data, networks, and infrastructure. Planning and executing disaster recovery strategies
and backup systems. Project Planning
and management for IT projects. Occasional local travel
may be required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or related field, or equivalent experience. Six years of relevant experience, with an emphasis on Microsoft, VMware, and Cisco solutions Previous experience within the healthcare field preferred. Previous management experience preferred.
