About The Role: As a Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering Intern here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to various projects within our manufacturing and industrial engineering teams. You will work closely with experienced professionals and learn about optimizing manufacturing operations, improving process efficiency, and driving operational excellence. This internship will give you valuable insights into manufacturing and industrial engineering and help you develop essential skills for your future career. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Assist in process improvement projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce waste Support the implementation of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and ensure product quality Gain exposure to various manufacturing technologies and equipment Participate in data analysis and problem-solving activities Contribute to the development and maintenance of manufacturing documentation and standard operating procedures Location: This position is available in multiple locations across the United States. The exact worksite location will be selected based on business requirements and the candidate's relevant experience and qualifications. The hourly base range for this position is $20.00/hr - $42.00/hr. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Minimum Qualifications: Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or similar field. Must graduate December 2026 or later Must continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher) We Value: Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic team environment Industrial design talent Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma experience is a plus Ability to easily and effectively balance many priorities and results-oriented demands Good interpersonal skills verbal and written Interning at Honeywell provides hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, professional development, and mentorship within a global organization. Interns will receive relocation benefits and short-term housing if they are 50 miles or more from their assigned work location (excluding Puerto Rico and Canada).
