A hybrid role to be directed to place of the most need of handling general warehouse duties, order preparation, fulfillment and shipping, delivering orders to customers, collecting payments, and transporting inventory.
Starting compensation at $20/hr
After a 90 day trial period, 40 hours paid time off and 6 paid holidays per year.
Responsibilities
- Perform Warehouse Operations: Store inventory accurately to maintain efficient warehouse flow and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Prepare and Fulfill Orders: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring orders are completed accurately.
- Maintain Stock Accuracy: Assist with periodic inventory checks, ensuring stock levels are correct and discrepancies are reported to management.
- Ensure Timely Deliveries: Deliver orders to customers promptly and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely receipt of goods.
- Collect Payments: Collect payments from customers at the time of delivery, ensuring accuracy in transactions and handling payments securely.
- Inventory Movement: Safely transport inventory between the warehouse and other company locations, ensuring it is properly secured during transport.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist in the loading and unloading of inventory onto trucks or delivery vehicles, ensuring that items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Support Warehouse Flexibility: Adapt to shifting priorities in the warehouse, performing other necessary duties as directed to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure Compliance with Safety Standards: Adhere to safety protocols and standards to prevent accidents or damage during warehouse operations and deliveries.
- Address customer concerns or issues during deliveries, providing clear communication and resolving problems efficiently.
Qualifications
- Clean driving record.
- Zoho, Quickbooks and MAC OS software experience with ability to create and edit.
- Ability to lift items of at least 50 lbs.
- Experience in warehouse environment.
- Exceptional math, organization, and counting skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Clean and presentable appearance.
