We are seeking a Mechanical / Electrical Planners to join our Nuclear Project teams. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and preparing work packages for large- and small-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, technical troubleshooting abilities, and a solid understanding of nuclear power plant work management and safety regulations to ensure projects are executed safely, reliably, and efficiently. Select and approve procurement of materials needed for work package execution.

Plan and prepare work instructions for electrical / mechanical and contract maintenance organizations.
Select and approve procurement of materials needed for work package execution.
Conduct field walk downs to analyze maintenance, modifications, and surveillance activities, ensuring work package quality.
Collaborate with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to identify and resolve work package issues.
Define required procedures, drawings, equipment, and materials for planned work packages.
Facilitate package preparation, including regulatory and safety documentation such as OOS’s, RWP’s, welding permits, fire impairments, ALARA task outs, and quality hold points.
Ensure compliance with station procedures, industry codes, and regulatory standards (NSP’s, NSWP’s, ASME Code, etc.).
Provide project management oversight for other system planners or contractors.
Participate in work control meetings, planning feedback sessions, troubleshooting, risk assessments, and peer reviews to support project execution.
MUST HAVE NUCLEAR PROJECT EXPERIENCE*
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of six years of experience in a technical area (e.g., maintenance, engineering, operations, or maintenance planning).
High school diploma or GED with technical training or education equivalent to an in-grade apprenticeship program in maintenance-related work and six years of experience in a technical area.
Strong computer proficiency
Ability to obtain Planner I qualification
