Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Position Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc.
is seeking a dedicated
Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
for
travel assignments
in various healthcare facilities. The MLT will perform
diagnostic laboratory tests , analyze biological specimens, and ensure
accurate and timely results
for patient care. This role requires
strong technical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to laboratory safety protocols .
Responsibilities
Conduct
routine and specialized laboratory tests
on blood, tissue, and bodily fluids. Operate and maintain
laboratory equipment and instruments . Analyze test results and report findings to
physicians and medical teams . Ensure compliance with
CLIA, CAP, and other regulatory guidelines . Maintain
quality control procedures
to ensure test accuracy. Prepare
specimens for testing and processing . Maintain detailed
laboratory records and reports . Monitor
inventory levels
and order laboratory supplies. Travel to various healthcare facilities for
temporary assignments . Qualifications
Education:
Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field. Certification:
ASCP, AMT, or equivalent preferred. Experience:
Minimum
1-2 years
in a laboratory setting. Skills:
Strong
analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities . Travel Readiness:
Willingness to accept
