Links Technology Solutions is currently seeking an experienced
Technical Writer
to fill an opening with an Information Technology company.
Responsibilities of the Technical Writer
Develop and write a variety of technical content, including user guides, configuration guides, API documentation, and online help. Partner with subject matter experts to gain a deep understanding of technologies and solutions. Apply strong information architecture principles to organize content in a logical and easy-to-navigate way. Continuously improve the quality, usability, and efficiency of technical documentation. Experiment with innovative content formats, such as video tutorials and interactive content. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all documentation aligns with Company’s branding and messaging.
Qualifications of the Technical Writer
5+ years of experience writing technical documentation for complex products and technologies. A proven track record of delivering high-quality content on time and within budget. Excellent writing skills with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. The ability to learn new technologies quickly and translate them into clear, concise language for a variety of audiences. Experience with content management systems (CMS) and content authoring tools a plus. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a collaborative working style. Experience with Cisco products and technologies. Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, cybersecurity, or AI/ML. Experience with content strategy, information architecture, or user experience (UX) design.

Location: San Jose, Ca – Hybrid role. Hourly Pay between $40/hr - $50/hr. Long term contract. Medical/Dental/Vision. 401k Matching. 2 weeks PAID vacation.
