A well-established retail jewelry business based in the Miami area is looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Buyer to support the company’s purchasing and assortment planning efforts. This individual will help guide product selection, manage supplier partnerships, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the merchandise offering aligns with business goals and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the development and execution of buying plans in alignment with overall business objectives and customer preferences. Maintain and strengthen relationships with suppliers to support sourcing, pricing, and inventory goals. Monitor industry developments, seasonal shifts, and customer trends to inform purchasing decisions. Analyze sales and inventory data to support assortment adjustments and performance improvements. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure products are effectively marketed and merchandised. Assist with planning promotions and product launches in coordination with sales and marketing teams. Provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to overall team development. Support pricing, inventory flow, and markdown decisions to maintain business targets. Participate in product development and sourcing discussions as needed. Contribute to broader merchandising and planning projects. Qualifications: 5+ years of relevant jewelry buying

or merchandising experience Bilingual English and Spanish Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with experience managing external partnerships. Comfort with analyzing data and using it to guide decisions. Proficiency with common business tools such as Excel and inventory management software. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and adapt to shifting priorities. Well-organized, proactive, and focused on delivering results. Educational background in business, merchandising, or a related area is a plus. A strong interest in product, customer experience, and retail strategy. Seniority level
