About the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Litigation Center: The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Litigation Center is the litigation arm of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, advocating for free enterprise in the courts. The Litigation Center represents the voice of the business community as amicus curiae and as a party to litigation. We file over 200 amicus briefs in state and federal courts each year. We also bring lawsuits on behalf of the U.S. Chamber to challenge anti-business laws and regulations. Position Overview: Provide litigation support services to the Litigation Center and its attorneys across amicus and party litigation work. Responsibilities: Legal Support Prepare, edit, and proofread legal and case-related materials for accuracy and completeness. Draft, file, and track routine legal and case-related documents, including bar admissions and notices of appearance. Manage litigation intake and updates for amicus requests, briefs, and regulatory litigation. Own and manage the internal library of legal documents; design, implement, and maintain legal resources and processes to increase efficiency. Maintain and organize case-tracking, deadlines, court filings, and legal-related tracking systems. Research legislative bills and legal cases for developments and potential Litigation Center involvement. Work closely with attorneys to prioritize legal requests and provide support, including preparing reports and retrieving court and agency documents. Events & Communications Assist with marketing and communications, including member and external fundraising materials, website updates, blogs, and social media posts. Handle communications with member companies, law firms, organizations, and Chamber staff. Plan and support logistics for virtual and in-person events, including out-of-town events and moot courts. Administrative Duties Provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Vice President and other attorneys. Handle special projects as assigned. Qualifications: J.D. preferred with 2-5 years’ legal experience. Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proactive problem-solving abilities. Comfortable with ambiguity, able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to exercise sound judgment, handle confidential information, and interact with high-level professionals. Enthusiasm for learning and growth. Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Interest in policy, law, and politics is a plus. The salary range is $107,900 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, and paid leave.
