Join to apply for the CRNA - PRN role at GI Alliance GI Alliance is seeking an experienced CRNA for as-needed PRN work. Position purpose: Provide quality and versatile anesthesia care under the direct supervision of a physician. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Performs all aspects of airway management. Facilitates emergence and recovery from anesthesia by evaluating patient response, and selecting, ordering, and administering medications and fluids to maintain patient stability during transfer. Initiates and administers post-anesthesia pharmacological or fluid support of the cardiovascular system. Initiates and administers respiratory support to ensure adequate ventilation and oxygenation during post-anesthesia period. Provides post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care. Discharges patient from post-anesthesia care unit. Closely supports and monitors vital functions. Takes corrective action in case of adverse drug response. Terminates anesthesia in a timely fashion, ensuring patient safety during transfer to post-anesthetic recovery. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) required. Valid CRNA certification required. A minimum of two years or progressive work experience in a multispecialty physician group model preferred. Ability to transport patients in stretchers to various locations. Ability to perform clinically as a nurse anesthetist regularly. Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration. Knowledge of infection prevention and control techniques. Understanding of growth and development principles across lifespan and ability to assess patient data accordingly. Proficient in technical (computer) skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and self-motivate. Strong ethics and conflict management skills.
