Job Description
The National Account Director is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the entire account in coordination with the National client.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as the single point of contact at the national level and provide strategic oversight for a portfolio of National Account clients.
- Oversee daily account activities to ensure all service objectives are met.
- Establish, measure, and improve upon the client’s KPIs.
- Achieve fiscal year portfolio objectives, including revenue growth, profit margins, and client retention.
- Manage client contracts and execute extensions aligned with retention plans.
- Implement portfolio price increase plans as per contractual terms.
- Support Billing & Collections through monthly audits to meet AR objectives.
- Prepare and conduct client meetings and reviews, including presentations and data reporting.
- Assist the Sales team with rollout and implementation of new clients.
- Implement client program upgrades.
- Lead RFP retention efforts in partnership with Sales.
- Collaborate with XLOB leaders to support account growth and retention.
- Facilitate introductions and meetings between Aramark and client leadership to foster long-term relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- At least 8 years of successful B2B sales and/or account management experience.
- Strong business acumen and experience managing strategic accounts.
- Experience with Major (National) Account management.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with support account managers.
- Understanding of financial metrics like P&L, sales, and expenses.
- Proven track record of achieving plans.
- Ability to balance client needs with internal goals.
- Skillful in managing multiple initiatives efficiently.
- Experience working cross-functionally in a matrix organization.
- Ability to analyze markets and develop innovative sales strategies.
- Problem-solving skills to resolve operational issues.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the company's product line.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
