Job Title: CAD Technician

Location: Bergenfield, NJ

Salary: $75K + Benefits

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician with proficiency in AutoCAD and technical drafting to join our team. You will play a crucial role in producing high-quality shop drawings and supporting our commercial projects in sectors such as education, government, and high-rise construction .

While experience in roofing and waterproofing is preferred, we are happy to provide training for the right candidate who brings strong drafting skills and a solid understanding of general construction practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate and detailed shop drawings for commercial roofing and waterproofing projects.
• Work from architectural and structural plans to create construction-ready documents.
• Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Update and revise drawings based on feedback and site conditions.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and company standards.

Requirements:

• Proficient in AutoCAD with strong drafting skills.
• Solid understanding of general construction practices .
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural plans.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in roofing and waterproofing drafting.
• Background in commercial projects such as schools, government buildings, or high-rise developments .
