Position: Programmatic Account Executive Location:
Remote (Candidates in NY, LA, Chicago, SF, Dallas, Austin, Columbus, Minneapolis)
The Programmatic Account Executive will help grow premium programmatic revenue, collaborating with sales teams across USA TODAY/Gannett. Reporting to the Head of Programmatic Sales, this role requires passion for innovation, creative thinking, and a fun attitude.
Responsibilities:
Drive premium programmatic advertising sales, meeting/exceeding sales goals.
Lead meetings and discussions as an SME alongside sales executives to close revenues.
Manage, renew, and upsell existing clients.
Represent Gannett and USA TODAY at industry events.
Ensure client KPIs and needs are met in collaboration with partner teams.
Identify and influence programmatic decision makers across agencies.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of programmatic sales experience with a proven leadership record.
Knowledge of Programmatic Ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, Tech Partners).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
The annual base salary ranges from $70,000 to $80,000, with variable compensation based on role and individual factors.
