Job Summary
This position has overall responsibility for department operations, employee supervision, and assists in planning for personnel, machines, equipment, and purchasing of supplies/raw materials.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, training, mentoring, and direction to employees to achieve department and company goals and metrics.
- Work independently to resolve issues and develop new or modify existing methods, techniques, and procedures to meet production requirements.
- Educate and train personnel regarding their job functions and maintain established housekeeping practices.
Requirements
- Associate's degree preferred; minimum of 5 years of progressive supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Ability to organize, interpret, and solve practical problems in a changing environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects daily.
- Must be able to work effectively with others, including direct and indirect reports.
