Position Overview:
Our client is looking for a results-driven and motivated Direct Sales Representative to join the team in the Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin area. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with our direct customers and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, customer-focused professional with a technical background and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and sustain strong, loyal relationships with direct customers within the assigned territory, working closely with the Direct Sales Manager.
- Provide excellent customer service through clear, effective communication (both written and verbal), offering solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Develop and execute annual sales strategies and plans for your assigned territory, ensuring sales goals are met in collaboration with the Direct Sales Manager.
- Stay actively engaged in industry trends by participating in the design, fabrication, and casting communities to gather valuable market insights.
- Leverage technical expertise to interpret technical drawings, provide cost-effective solutions, and offer outstanding service to clients.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Ability to travel regionally, approximately 60% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in the heat treatment industry.
- Previous experience in sales and customer service is a plus.
