$47.44 - $71.16 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Summary: Provide exceptional specialty health care services in both outpatient and acute care settings for patients with acute or chronic health conditions. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient evaluations by obtaining history and performing assessments through observation, interview, and examination. Order, perform, and interpret necessary diagnostic studies. Administer preventative health assessments, screenings, and immunizations. Manage direct treatment of health conditions and utilize prescriptive authority as permitted. Guide patients and their families/caregivers with counseling and education on health, wellness, treatment options, and community resources, ensuring informed choices and shared decision-making. Deliver comprehensive care across inpatient and outpatient settings, including preoperative, intra-operative, and post-operative services. Exhibit critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to operate with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Requirements: Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with specialization in relevant practice area. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner. Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges and credentialing. Prescriptive authority aligned with medical staff service privileging process. Certification by ANCC or AANP; licensing verification through the State Board of Nursing. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, valid before the start date.
