An award-winning hospital is seeking a Nurse Educator of Critical Care Services to provide education and direction to their critical care services department. This is a full-time, permanent role in a fast-paced environment with a dedicated team who s primarily goal is to provide the best clinical care possible to their patients.
Nationally recognized for their vast clinical services including critical care services, surgical services, and oncology services, this innovative hospital has provided care to its community members for over 85 years. This state-of-the-art hospital is fully equipped with cutting-edge technology to provide individualized care for any patient who walks through their hospital s doors, no matter how complex the medical need may be.
The Nurse Educator of Critical Care Services will directly report to the Nurse Manager of Critical Care Services. This individual must provide daily updates regarding the status of educational courses being presented to the clinical department to their superior and will be expected to work together with the Nurse Manager of Critical Care Services to guarantee all rules and regulations are being followed. Serving as a clinical instructor to the Critical Care Services Nurses, the Nurse Educator of Critical Care Services must be readily available to provide their assistance and guidance during any pressing and/or critical situation.
The Nurse Educator of Critical Care Services will be expected to educate and provide clinical insight to the entire trauma services department. Equipped with front-line technology within the entire hospital, the Nurse Educator of Critical Care Services will be required to be well-versed in any and all clinical equipment utilized within their department and hospital as needed. The Nurse Educator of Critical Care Services must be regularly informed regarding the care being administered within the unit, and must be able to highlight their team s strengths, and pinpoint any weaknesses and provide the necessary training to address any matter.
