QUALIFICATIONS : Must hold proper Ohio Department of Education Intervention Specialist licensure or be eligible to obtain a supplemental license.
DESCRIPTION :
Classroom services are designed to serve students with high communication needs. The program is designed for students identified with low-incidence disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders. Communicate high expectations for students. Plan and implement lessons that stimulate student interest and enthusiasm. Vary instructional techniques to address individual student needs. Work effectively as a team member behavior specialist instructional assistant with related service providers. Ability to provide guidance and direction to instructional assistants. Utilize positive behavior supports and interventions with students. Implement behavior intervention plans as part of a team.
LOCATION : To be determined: The Classroom will be located in the NwOESC service area. Possible locations include public schools in Fulton, Henry, Williams, and Defiance counties. CONTRACT: Per the applicable school calendar

SALARY : Per the adopted salary schedule based on training and experience
