This position is for the Orthopedic Associates of Hartford at the Enfield, CT Outpatient Rehab Clinic.
Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for coverage at our Enfield Orthopedic Associates office who is committed to providing excellent outpatient orthopedic care. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians and some of the best orthopedic professionals in New England.
As a PTA, you will be part of an orthopedic-based practice, treating a diverse range of cases, including sports medicine, hand therapy, dry needling, musculoskeletal disorders, osteoporosis, and rehabilitation for work injuries.
Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will assist in structured assessments and help in the determination, revision, and implementation of treatment plans to identify, prevent, and rehabilitate physical dysfunction or pain, with a focus on enhancing functional independence. You will utilize various treatment skills and modalities to assess patient needs and apply therapeutic techniques effectively.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program with an Associate's degree.
- Connecticut registration is required.
