Job Title: Administrative Assistant/Logistics Coordinator

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $19.00 - $22.00/Hour

Located in Macon, Georgia, SD Polymers is seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Administrative Assistant / Logistics Coordinator to support our business operations. In this role, you will be the central point of contact for greeting visitors, general communication, filing, organizing, answer the phone, scheduling and coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, managing documentation for customs and compliance, and ensuring seamless communication between clients, vendors, and freight partners.

Responsibilities
· Answer and direct calls professionally, ensuring smooth coordination between clients, vendors, logistics partners and other visitors.
· Manage all aspects logistical efficiency including inbound and outbound trucking, ensuring on-time deliveries, maintain inbound and outbound trucking schedules for domestic and international shipping, ensure on-time deliveries and proactively address scheduling conflicts.
· Responsible for overseeing annual DOT Renewals, ensuring all regulatory documentation is completed and submitted on time.
· Master documentation and Customs processes, including processing and submitting critical shipping documents to freight forwarders and customers.
· Maintain administrative and shipping files in an organized manner, assist with general office administrative tasks, as needed.
· Take initiative to identify process improvements in both the administrative and logistics function.
Qualifications
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· MS Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word (Intermediate), Excel (Intermediate)
· Ability to multi-task and maintain accurate records
· High School Diploma or equivalent required
· 1- 3 years of administrative experience preferred
· Must pass preemployment background check and drug screening
· Reliable transportation and a clean driving record required
