NURSE PRACTITIONER Gynecologic Oncology 40HR Day Shift (8AM TO 4:30PM) Temple Univ. Hospital

Are you an experienced Gynecologic Oncology Nurse Practitioner or are you a Nurse Practitioner (NP) who has been practicing in Women's Health OR Oncology and are looking to grow your career? Temple University Health System is looking to add a Gynecologic Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to our team! The position is Monday-Friday ONLY. NO weekends, NO Holidays, No On-call. A candidate with oncology experience is HIGHLY desired for this role. At Temple University Health System, this Nurse Practitioner (NP) role will include; * Treating and evaluating patients * Administering advanced nursing care in a particular clinical specialty area under the direction of the licensed physician * Performing a wide variety of patient care activities including diagnosis and the prescription of medical therapeutics or corrective measures in collaboration with and under the direction of the licensed physician. Candidate will be responsible to care for patients with gynecologic malignancies and benign gynecologic conditions such as dysplasia, hyperplasia, and germline genetic mutations. * Manage patients on chemotherapy , including education, symptom management and supportive care. * Perform and/or assist with diagnostic/therapeutic procedures such as colposcopy, cervical-vulvar-vaginal biopsies, and endometrial biopsies to aid in diagnosing medical and surgical problems and prescribing necessary treatment and services for quality patient care. * Play a significant role in managing end of life and supportive care issues across the scope of our practice in the inpatient and outpatient settings. In this context, the APP will work closely with both the Gynecologic Oncology team and play a vital role in timely initiation of goals of care conversations. Education Bachelors Degree : Nursing (Required) Masters Degree : Nursing (Required) Experience 1 Year experience in a clinical specialty practice; OBGYN and/or Oncology (Preferred) * Oncology experience is highly desired. 2 Years experience as a nurse practitioner (Preferred) License/Certifications CRNP - PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner (Required) RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required) PRX-AUTH - Prescriptive Authority (Preferred) _ '326936
