Facilitate real-time communication regarding operational emergencies and disaster readiness.
Act as a key liaison for daily interactions between the Command Center and Government leadership.
Lead business continuity calls and manage incident notifications to Government representatives.
Utilize internal reporting systems to document incidents for leadership review.
Take responsibility for significant escalations identified by monitoring analysts.
Oversee the assessment of impacting events, ensuring the right processes are engaged.
Keep leadership informed on critical incidents.
Create Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to manage team assignments and activities.
Prepare PowerPoint presentations for team briefings and workshops.
Support Site Operations through effective problem resolution and decision-making.
Ensure prompt responses (within 5 minutes) to critical network alerts.
Generate detailed Critical Incident Reports for leadership insights.
Manage the daily operations of the Command Center Watch Team efficiently.
Update and maintain standard operating procedures and participate in continuous service improvements.
Contribute to strategic network and operational planning efforts.
Develop recommendations for resolving NetOps challenges through analysis and monitoring.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
U.S. Citizenship and a DoD Secret Clearance are required.
Must meet IAT level II certification requirements (8570 Compliant).
Familiarity with ITIL best practices is preferred.
Experience in data center operations is essential.
Ability to perform well under pressure, demonstrating strong multitasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential.
Hands-on experience with DoD networks, including NIPR and SIPR.
Willingness to work shifts according to the schedule provided.
Preferred Qualifications Previous military experience, particularly within the USMC or USN, is a plus.
Experience with networking technologies and data center operations.
Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to write comprehensive reports.
An entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Ability to set clear goals and timelines while coordinating with diverse teams.
Motivated self-starter with strong communication skills, capable of producing detailed technical reports.
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $24.00 to $31.00, with final compensation reflecting the candidate's education, experience, skills, and internal equity. SMIT
