We encourage anyone who shares our values to apply today!We are proud to offer our employees: 401(k)Competitive WagesApprenticeship and Comprehensive Training ProgramsPaid Holidays Upon HireCompetitive Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceHSA with Employer ContributionPaid Time OffCompany Paid Short-Term Disability & Life InsuranceSafety Bonus ProgramEmployee Stock Ownership ProgramWork Travel IncentiveHoliday BonusJob Responsibilities:Measure, cut, and bend various sizes of pipe and tubing to required angle/length using pipe cutters and bendersCopper Brazing and solderingThread and assemble black and steel pipePrepare, fabricate, install and fit pipe to specificationsInstall valves, hangers, supports, and flanges in piping systems according to plans and applicable specificationsRepair leaks in all types of pipe systemsAssemble, install and repair piping systems according to specifications and appropriate trade and building codesEnsure attention to detail and follow safety standardsWork with other departments as neededJob Requirements:Minimum 3 years of Industrial or Commercial Pipefitting/Plumbing experienceMust be able to read, comprehend, and interpret pipe drawingsWorking knowledge of Industrial/Commercial process heating and cooling systemsAbility to properly use tape measureKnowledge of pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, gas, and drainage systemsMust have the ability to read and interpret a written scope of workPerform basic mathematical computations and use measuring toolsComfortable working at heightsMust be able to identify basic trade materials by size, shape, and function and safely use small power tools and hand toolsWillingness to learnPipe welding using MIG, TIG, or stick is beneficial but not requiredValid Drivers License Physical Requirements:Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and/or operate scissor/boom lifts while working at height. Work in permit & non-permit required confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment. Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally Must be able to respond quickly to auditory alarms, visual signals, or other effective means to communicate hazards Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces. Must be able to work in cold/hot environments. Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
