Be a part of an organization that is modernizing and transforming its IT platforms, processes, and skills to accelerate Mattel’s strategy to unlock a world of tech-enhanced 360-degree play experiences! Mattel is looking for a Lead Oracle Financials IT Solution Architect with a functional/technical architecture skill set to design, solution, implement, and optimize our Oracle Cloud Fusion applications ecosystem. The ideal candidate will join the Global Technology Organization (GTO) Corporate Systems Applications group supporting Finance, Legal, and Human Resources. The group is migrating from Oracle eBusiness Suite to Oracle Cloud Fusion. The Lead Oracle Financials IT Solution Architect will have experience architecting and solutioning this migration, bringing industry best practices to Mattel’s project. They should have a deep understanding of Oracle Cloud Fusion applications, integration technologies, and cloud architecture best practices, with knowledge across process areas like Order to Cash, Record to Report, Requisition to Pay, and others. Reporting to a Director of GTO, the Lead Oracle Financials IT Systems Architect will partner with business and IT teams to support and transform finance processes. What Your Impact Will Be
Support the Oracle system architecture during the migration from Oracle Financials EBS to Oracle Cloud Fusion. Demonstrate expertise in Oracle Accounting Hub. Support enterprise design and integration solutions between Oracle Cloud Fusion applications and other systems. Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure scalability, performance, and security of Oracle Cloud Fusion implementations. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Conduct architecture reviews and propose system improvements. Stay current with Oracle Cloud Fusion updates and features, recommending adoption when beneficial. Bring expertise as a senior Oracle cloud system architect, interfacing with IT peers and business users. Work with internal customers, external consultants, and vendors to support project and operational tasks. Understand business problems and architect solutions to enable organizational goals. Create and maintain documentation such as Functional Design Documents, Technical Design Documents, and process flows. Interact with application leads, business leads, third-party partners, and consultants to analyze requirements. Lead design discussions and communicate application functionality and change impacts. Conduct code reviews and guide team members involved in development and testing. Provide status updates to management regularly. Troubleshoot issues in development, staging, or production environments. Support go-live preparations and production rollout activities. Support business projects integrating in-house and cloud-based solutions. What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields. 7+ years of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials experience as a solutions architect, with at least 3 years in architecture for Oracle Cloud Fusion. Deep functional and technical understanding of Oracle ERP Financials, including global organizational structures. Expertise in Oracle technologies like Oracle Integration Cloud, Web Services, OCI, DBCS. Participation in at least two full lifecycle Oracle ERP Financials migrations for global organizations. Experience with Oracle localizations and globalizations. Ability to collaborate with Oracle Solution architects from Big 4 consulting firms. Proficiency in cloud architecture principles and best practices. Strong communication skills to lead design discussions and explain functionalities. Ability to interpret business requirements and provide data solutions. Proactive in seeking simplification and continuous improvement. Critical thinking skills for resolving business issues. Effective communication with all organizational levels. Strong planning, organization, and coordination skills. Experience guiding support teams and documenting business processes. Understanding of application configuration and SOX compliance. Oracle Cloud certifications preferred. Growth mindset and willingness to learn and improve. The annual base salary range is between
