Sr. Staff Hardware Design Engineer

A global technology leader in the clean energy sector is seeking a Sr. Staff Hardware Design Engineer to join a high-impact innovation team focused on next-generation system control solutions for advanced energy products. This small, elite group works at the intersection of embedded systems, power electronics, and electromechanical integration—developing cutting-edge designs from concept through prototype and into scalable manufacturing.

In this role, you will:

• Design and integrate advanced embedded and power hardware for complex energy systems.
• Lead specification, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, and debugging of high-performance circuits.
• Work hands-on with hardware bring-up, testing, and performance validation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve challenging system-level hardware issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide best practices.

You’ll need:

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Significant experience in digital/mixed-signal/embedded hardware design for commercial products.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., OrCAD, Cadence Allegro).
• Strong troubleshooting skills with complex systems.
• Familiarity with industry protocols and compliance standards is a plus.

This is a hands-on, senior-level role where you’ll influence the design and performance of innovative energy technologies used worldwide.
