Job Title: Desktop Support Technician (Windows 11 Upgrade)
Location: Carson, CA (Orange County) – 100% Onsite
Duration: 2+ Months (Contract)
Work Hours: Flexible 8-hour shift between 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM (No OT)
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Desktop Support Technician to assist with a company-wide fleet refresh and Windows 11 upgrade project . This is an onsite role based in Carson, CA , supporting end users directly through imaging, setup, scheduling, and deployment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, has strong knowledge of Windows 11 , and enjoys face-to-face customer service in a corporate environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support a Windows 11 refresh and deployment project
- Perform PC imaging and in-person deployment of new hardware
- Coordinate and schedule with end users for upgrade appointments
- Provide in-person desktop support; minimal phone/email support
- Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues as needed
- Maintain excellent customer service and professional communication
- Collaborate with internal IT team members and report to project lead
Qualifications:
- Solid experience with Windows 11 setup, troubleshooting, and imaging
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Previous hands-on desktop support experience in a corporate environment
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple scheduling tasks
- Experience with hardware refresh or migration projects preferred
- Reliable, professional, and personable demeanor
