We are actively recruiting a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our growing and dynamic team as we build a comprehensive pediatric cardiac program encompassing cardiac surgery, interventional cardiology, and electrophysiology.Our current team includes one cardiac surgeon, one interventional cardiologist, one electrophysiologist, and one cardiac anesthesiologist. As the program expands, we are adding a second full-time pediatric cardiac anesthesiologist, with plans for further growth aligned with the addition of new surgical and interventional team members.This is a unique opportunity to join an evolving program during a pivotal growth phase and play a key role in shaping its future. The incoming anesthesiologist will be involved in both cardiac and general pediatric anesthesia cases, collaborating with a team of 11 anesthesiologists. There is no in-house overnight call-calls are taken from home and shared among the anesthesia group, including two part-time, PRN cardiac anesthesiologists.Key Responsibilities:Provide anesthetic care for pediatric patients undergoing cardiac surgery, interventional cardiology, and electrophysiology procedures.Participate in general pediatric anesthesia cases as needed.Collaborate closely with the cardiac team to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient care.Share home-call responsibilities as part of a supportive and experienced anesthesia team.Contribute to the development and optimization of cardiac anesthesia protocols as the program expands.The Benefits We Offer:Competitive compensation packageComprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insuranceRetirement savings plan with employer automatic contribution and matchMalpractice insurance with full tail coverageGenerous paid time-off allowanceTax-free commuter benefits (transit or parking)CME time and stipendRelocation assistance Requirements Qualifications:MD or DO from an accredited institution Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship Additional training in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia, preferably a dedicated one-year fellowship Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Anesthesiology Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a well-established pediatric cardiac program Clear/ active license Commitment to excellence in perioperative pediatric cardiac care
