Pharmacist - Inpatient
Location: Gainesville, FL Length: 13 Weeks Weekly Gross: $2,141.00 Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8-hr Evenings
Requirements: • Requested Skill Set: Inpatient pharmacy experience, IV compounding, Automated Delivery System • Must have: Pharmacist license in state of FL, inpatient pharmacist work experience
Procedures performed on unit: Fill prescriptions, oversee sterile compounding, oversee non-sterile compounding, oversee appropriate handling of hazardous drugs, oversee controlled substance handling according to state and federal regulations, oversee repackaging, oversee pharmacy technician staff and take full responsibility for all medications dispensed or leaving the pharmacy, oversee drug delivery and quality check on pyxis fill. Complete compounding (sterile and non-sterile) when needed.
Unit staffing description: Pharmacist to work in central pharmacy. Type of equipment: Meditech, Pyxis, Client IV Prep, Pharmacy Stars
