Physical Therapist, Brain Injury Unit, $10k Sign on
Join UM Rehab's specialized Brain Injury Unit, where we treat complex cases including coma-emerging patients and behavioral challenges. We offer a fast-paced, rewarding environment with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to patient recovery. Job Description Summary:
Provide advanced physical therapy services, evaluate patient needs, develop treatment plans, and participate in professional development activities. Lead or support performance improvement initiatives and assist in equipment management. Responsibilities: Perform advanced physical therapy in accordance with standards, ethics, and policies. Assess patients, develop and modify treatment plans, and document evaluations. Educate patients and families, and collaborate with the healthcare team. Mentor team members and students, participate in quality improvement, and manage equipment. Qualifications: Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree required; Bachelor’s or Master’s accepted if licensed before 2016. At least 1 year licensed Physical Therapist experience. Maryland licensure and BLS certification. Skills:
Strong communication, teamwork, time management, problem-solving, confidentiality, and equipment use skills. Additional Info:
